Through our summer internship program our goal is for you to get an inside look, ask questions, be invested in, and work alongside some of our key staff and volunteers. Each internship provides a unique opportunity to invest in the church community through project management, service, and leadership development.

Who can apply?
We invite anyone to apply who is ready to grow as they learn to walk in the Way of Jesus, develop leadership skills, and gain ministry experience. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.
What are the dates of the internship program?
Internship Dates:
8 Week Program
June 9, 2025- August 1, 2025

NYC Mission Trip Dates:
Friday, July 11,2025-July 14, 2025
What is the goal of the summer internship program?
Develop your professional skills and gain hands-on ministry experience while spending a summer with Nona Church. We have a variety of internship opportunities available and we encourage you to review each and apply to ministry area(s) of interest. This is a great opportunity to grow in your leadership skills and learn alongside our amazing staff team!
When is my application due?
Applications are due by March 31st, 2025.
Interviews will be completed in April, with placements and follow-up notifications to applicants by May 1st.
What leadership training is available?
In addition to serving in a specific ministry area, Nona Church provides weekly leadership development as we continue to learn and walk in the Way of Jesus. 
What is the mission aspect of the internship?
As a component of the internship, the internship cohort will participate in a hands-on short-term mission trip to NYC in partnership with Jews for Jesus. The cost of the trip is $1000.
Is the internship paid?
Interns receive a monthly stipend of $500. The short term trip to NYC is not covered by Nona Church but support raised by each individual.
What are the hours?
All hours will take place on campus. Internships are 15 hours per week, with 5-6 of the hours designated to your Saturday or Sunday role.  Your internship leader will work with you to ensure the best use of your time.
Will I receive a job at Nona Church after the completion of my internship?
While there may exist opportunity to interview for a staff role at the end of the internship, all internships are completed August 1, 2025.

Guest Services at Moss Park or Narcoossee Campus:
This role is to join the campus lead in overseeing the life and direction of the Moss Park and/or Narcoossee Campus, especially in relation to Sunday mornings. This position will help give support and leadership to the lobby experience, scheduling the prayer team, and be well connected at the New Here area to interact with new guests who are coming to Moss Park and/or Narcoossee. This role will join the campus lead to learn how to lead in baptism classes, the 3:2 life discussion groups, and community group leadership. They will join in the meetings of all Moss Park leadership meetings. They will also join the campus lead in community-focused events for the area and be asked to pioneer/lead at least one initiative for the Moss Park and/or Narcoossee Campus area including planning, recruiting, executing, and asking for feedback.

Kids Ministry:
NonaKids is a fun space where kids of all ages connect on Sunday mornings to know who Jesus is, build friendships with their peers, and be encouraged by leaders. In age-level groups, kids experience worship, engage in Bible teaching, and enjoy application activities to help them be formed by God’s Word.

If you have a passion for using the unique ways that God has made you to help kids know Jesus, this is for you! Some people connect with kids in energetic and silly ways; others connect by quietly playing alongside a child. Both ways, and many more, help kids know Jesus and feel safe and loved. This is Kingdom work!


Mission and Outreach:
The Missions and Outreach Internship provides a unique opportunity to serve local and global communities by assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of outreach initiatives. Interns will engage in hands-on administrative support, build relationships with partner organizations, and help create meaningful experiences that share hope and compassion.

If you have a passion for serving others, building cross-cultural connections, and supporting impactful outreach projects, this internship will allow you to be part of life-changing work while developing valuable skills in missions and community engagement.


NonaStudents:
NonaStudents is looking for two conference interns. This internship will offer  hands-on experience in planning and implementing a multi-day event that engages middle and high school students. Interns will gain skills in administration, logistical coordination, and relational outreach, working alongside a dynamic team to create impactful experiences for students.

If you have a passion for creating memorable experiences, connecting with students, and building practical skills in event planning and ministry, this internship will provide you with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the next generation while growing in leadership and relational skills.


Creative Media Ministry:
The Creative Media Ministry at Nona Church is dedicated to crafting compelling visual and digital experiences that inspire, engage, and communicate the message of Jesus effectively. This ministry encompasses all creative departments, including video production, graphic design, photography, social media, branding, and live production.

If you have a passion for storytelling through media, a creative eye for design, or a heart for using digital platforms to share the gospel, this ministry provides an exciting opportunity to shape the visual and online presence of Nona Church.
